How to delete your Killgate account
- Sign in to Killgate (the Android app or this website) with the email you signed up with.
- Open this page, or go to Account and choose Delete your account.
- Type DELETE and confirm. Deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.
Can't sign in? email killgateapp@gmail.com from the address on the account with the subject "Delete my Killgate account". Killgate confirms you own the account and deletes it within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in email.
- Your ideas, research reports, evidence, notes, decisions, and version history.
- Market Research Studio projects and reports.
- Credits, passes, subscription access records, and purchase ownership records.
- Usage records and any API tokens you created.
What is kept, and for how long
- Google Play keeps its own records of your purchases under Google's privacy policy. Killgate cannot delete those.
- Google Play billing notifications, which hold only a one-way hash of the purchase and no email or account ID, are kept as billing and fraud-prevention records.
- Server logs are deleted automatically after 30 days.
- Database backups are overwritten automatically within 30 days.
